Another bad news for PUBG fans
There’s another bad news for PUBG fans after the ban of PUBG Mobile in India. The developers have announced that PUBG Lite has reached its end of life and you will no longer be able to play the game starting April 29. The PUBG Lite game was a free-to-play variant of the original PUBG PC game meant for low-end computers.

“We are deeply grateful for the passion and support from the astounding number of PUBG LITE fans that have been with us. During the strenuous times of the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope that PUBG LITE was able to provide our fans a fun way to stay safe. Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to close service after much deliberation and the time has come for our journey to end. We regretfully inform you that service of PUBG LITE is scheduled to end on April 29th, 2021 (UTC),” said the developers on the PUBG Lite website;.

The developers had first announced the news of PUBG Lite reaching its end of life on March 30 and starting April 29, the game will no longer be available. So, if you wish to play PUBG in India then opting for the PC version is your only choice. However, note that the PUBG for PC games requires a high-end computer and you will have to buy it.

While the storyline and gameplay is similar on PC as well, the PC version offers a more immersive experience. Note that you need a decent computer to play the game.

PUBG costs Rs 999 to play via Steam on your PC. You need at least Intel Core i5-4430 or AMD FX-6300 processor with 8GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB or AMD Radeon R7 370 2GB graphics, 64-bit Windows 7, DirectX version 11 and a minimum of 30GB storage to play PUBG on your PC via Steam. The recommended specs are 16GB of RAM, Intel Core i5-6600K and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB GPU.
