First stage semi-final between Madrid and Chelsea ends in a draw

Madrid: Real Madrid and Chelsea drew 1-1 on Tuesday (local time) in the first match of their semi-final in the UEFA Champions League here at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.

Both teams will now close horns in the semi-finals of the second leg on May 5, and whoever wins the match will advance to the finals of the tournament.

The first goal of the game was scored in the 14th minute when Christian Pulisic put Chelsea ahead, giving the Blues a 1-0 lead.

But 15 minutes later Real Madrid made a strong back when Karim Benzema scored a goal in the 29th minute and scored the points at 1-1.

No other goals were scored in the first half and halftime, and the teams went 1-1 on the scoresheet.

Both teams tried their best in the second half, but they could not score another goal and in the end the game ended in a draw.

Chelsea had five shots in the game, while Real Madrid had just one shot on the shot.
In terms of ball possession, Real Madrid held the ball for 51 percent of the game, while Chelsea held the ball for 49 percent of the game.
