Cowin website gets crashed; See how netizens reacted to this on Twitter
As the vaccination for above 18 to be given a kick-start from the 1st of May, the registration was supposed to be carried out today, from 4 pm. But there have been lots of complaints regarding website crashing.

As the registration for vaccination for above 18 gets embarked on today itself, Twitter gets flooded with complaints regarding the crash of the website, Cowin.gov.in
India is all set to put its hands to the plough with vaccination for above 18 from the 1st of May, 2021 onwards. As the central government has already promulgated, on 19th April, that people of age above 18 are now eligible to get vaccinated. The decision was taken keeping in view an accelerated and liberalized policy towards the Covid-19 vaccination in India. Well, previously, people of age above 45 years, healthcare workers as well as frontline workers were allowed to get the shots.
Although, the registration for the vaccination is to be through cowin.gov.in which has begun at 4 pm today. But there have been tonnes of complaints about the website. Lots of people have been making a fuss regarding the website. Some say that they didn’t get the required OTP in time, while there’s also a bunch of people saying even the Aarogya Setu app has ceased to function.
The long wait for that elusive OTP begins. I think its rather clever that they have mentioned I'll get my OTP, without specifying exactly when. Smart product design.
BTW, if someone gets my OTP please let me know. We can trade. #CoWin #cowinregistration #CowinApp #vaccination pic.twitter.com/UjXWjdlfQK
