A few days ago, the makers had posted a video in which Sawai was seen sharing his ordeal about his ailing mother and planning to quit the show midway. Judges Himesh and Vishal expressed shock and asked, "So you want to leave the show?" Many people felt that it was a deliberate attempt to spice up some drama and keep the audience hooked to the show. Some people even termed it as a 'well scripted drama.'
Then there are the show's judges and some celebrity guests who tirelessly keep praising each and every performance with their over dramatic comments. It seems like the contestants are just here to perform, earn praises and also secure a job offered either by the judges or the guests and walk back home. On numerous occasions the judges have declared all the contestants as the winners. So it doesn't matter if you win or lose, you are already a winner. So why are even they competing against each other?
We keep enjoying the weekly performances, witness the drama, the comic acts and bid the night goodbye with some trivia about the celebrity guests. Like daily soaps cannot run without fights, arguments and drama, Indian Idol 12 has been all about these of late.
