The ongoing COVID-19 crisis has pushed Karnataka’s graduates and post-graduates to pick up labour work to make ends meet. Several degree holders who have enrolled under the MGNREGS scheme for employment were seen hauling mud in Hanagal taluk. Eight graduates, 12 post-graduates and four PhD holders from the village have picked up labour work under the scheme.
