Among the top gainers in the BSE Sensex today are BAJAJ FINANCE (up 5.6%), BAJAJ FINSERV (up 4.1%) and BAJAJ AUTO (up 3.9%). Other gainers include INDUSIND BANK (up 3.3%) and M&M (up 2.5%).
AXIS BANK (down 1.3%) and TATA STEEL (down 1.2%) are among the top losers today.
In the meantime, the NSE Nifty Index is up 126 points to 14,787 (up 0.8%).
The top gainers in the NSE Nifty Index include include EICHER MOTOR (up 4.3%), BAJAJ FINSERV (up 4.0%) and BAJAJ AUTO (up 3.8%). Other gainers include INDUSIND BANK (up 3.3%) and HERO MOTOCORP (up 2.8%).
Over the last one year, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 31,743 to 49,449, registering a gain of 17,706 points (up 55.8%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks during this same period were TATA STEEL (up 255.4%), BAJAJ FINANCE (up 151.7%) and M&M (up 141.5%).

The biggest contributors to the gain in the Sensex today were BAJAJ FINANCE and BAJAJ FINSERV.
Among the other contributors were BAJAJ AUTO and INDUSIND BANK.
