As you might be aware, India is facing a ferocious second wave of COVID-19. Many people are trying their best to be of help, and one of them is Sonu Sood. The actor stated that helping people and saving lives is million times more satisfying than being a part of any 100 crore film. He took to Twitter and wrote, “In the middle of night, after making numerous calls if u r able to get beds for needy, oxygen for some people n save few lives, I swear..it's million times more satisfying than being a part of any 100cr film. The actor was tested positive for COVID-19 recently. Despite being unwell, he had been at the forefront of arranging stuff for everyone like hospital beds, Remidesivir and ventilators. Last year, when the lockdown was announced, he immensely helped the migrant workers to reach their homes. Now, he has been helping people in seeking assistance with treatments. Sonu Sood was the face of the vaccination drive conducted by the Punjab Government led by Captain Amarinder Singh. Talking about his appointment, he said, "I feel blessed to be playing any part in this huge campaign of the Punjab government to protect the lives of the people of my home state." "I truly believe I am no saviour. I am just a human being playing my own small part in the big plans of God. If I can, in the process, touch any lives in any manner, I can only say – God has blessed me, he is guiding me to fulfil my duty."
