Punjab: Ludhiana reports 1,052 new Covid-19 cases, 18 deaths
Ludhiana deputy commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said that the district now has 7,853 active coronavirus patients.
LUDHIANA: Ludhiana on Wednesday reported 1,052 new Covid-19 cases and 18 deaths, taking the district's coronavirus tally to 60,134 and toll to 2,019, deputy commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said.
Sharma said that the district now has 7,853 active patients.
Sharma said that till date, 79,752 persons have been kept under home quarantine in the district and at present, the number of such persons is 7,618.
On Wednesday, 341 persons were sent for home quarantine.
