Deutsche Telekom connects households with FTTH on island of Ruegen

Deutsche Telekom has connected 8,200 households with FTTH in Bergen auf Ruegen on the island of Ruegen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Telekom has conducted the construction works in Bergen using so-called earth rockets. The rockets are hammers that look like small missiles and are used to dig  channels for the fibre-optic conduits, leaving the surface untouched.
