BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) _ H&E Equipment Services Inc. (HEES) on Tuesday reported first-quarter net income of $4.2 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based company said it had profit of 11 cents.
The construction and industrial equipment service provider posted revenue of $278.4 million in the period.
H&E Equipment shares have risen 35% since the beginning of the year. The stock has nearly tripled in the last 12 months.
