Ericsson deploys LTE private network at Airbus site in Toulouse

Ericsson has extended its existing partnership with Airbus with the implementation of a new project, which will enable the European aerospace group to benefit from an LTE private network and NB-IoT connectivity at the aeronautical plant and final-assembly site located in French city of Toulouse. Running on mid-band 700 MHz and 2.6 GHz TDD frequencies, the deployment is designed to evolve in the future, with plans to test the use of 5G millimeter wave spectrum during the current year.
