Egypt releases 2,674 inmates on 39th Sinai Liberation Day
- The Egyptian Interior Ministry announced on Monday that 2,674 inmates were pardoned on the occasion of the 39th anniversary of Sinai Liberation Day which falls on April 25.

Two soldiers rescued after avalanche in Siachen succumb to injuries
"Two army soldiers have sustained fatal casualties due to an avalanche in Sub Sector Haneef, Siachen Sector. The avalanche occurred at 1300 hours on 25 April 2021. The two soldiers could only be rescued by the evening at 7.30 pm. Both these soldiers succumbed to injuries," the statement read. "Rest all soldiers and porters are stable and out of danger," the Army added.
