Hyderabad: With the increase of electric vehicles, the number of charging stations is increasing. The city enterprise RikaRica has found a mobile solution that enables owners of electric vehicles and fleet to know the status at the charging stations. End users can also use the app to book a lock at their preferred charging stations.
The solution also allows users to pay via a wallet integrated into the app. RikaRica will be a collector of service providers or stations. ‘Charging stations are increasing, but the problem is that some are dealer-specific. This only charges a few brands of vehicles. We also offer an offer to the service providers that enables them to be entrepreneurial agnostic and make optimal use of the available levies, ‘says Samridh Singh, founder and CEO, RikaRica.
The charging station management system software is integrated into the charging station and provides the information to the user and vendor application, which enables and manages the charging station and transaction statistics, he said.
The analysis platform on it allows the charging station owners to monitor the usage and energy consumption at an individual charging station based on locations. There are also alerts and notifications to streamline the process in real time. It helps the service providers to know the occupation and predict the demand.
The end users can use the Android app to locate and book the station, navigate to the location and start and stop and get an invoice. They also receive live climate and traffic notifications. It also allows communication between the charging station and the users, he said.
“There are a lot of charging systems. In a residential complex, for example, there may be electric vehicles from different suppliers. All of these require different charging systems, and setting up the required infra requires a lot of real estate. We will integrate various systems so that it can be used by everyone, ”said Amit Singh, co-founder, RikaRica.
For charging stations, it can offer chargers as well as software. He plans to set up his network in Tier I and II cities, which are now seeing greater demand for electric vehicles. He has already worked with three players to give them the software, and the technology platform was recently launched, he said.
