Delhi to have 44 more oxygen plants within a month, says CM Arvind Kejriwal
In order to tackle oxygen shortage in hospitals, CM Kejriwal announced that 21 oxygen plants are going to set up in the national capital. In addition to this, 18 oxygen tankers will be imported from Bangkok.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, while addressing a digital press conference, on Tuesday, said, “We’re going to set up 44 oxygen plants in Delhi within the next one month; 8 of these are being installed by the center. The remaining 36 are being installed by the Delhi government, 21 plants coming from France, and 15 plants from within the country itself.”
CM Kejriwal also added that the Delhi government is going to import 21 ready-to-use oxygen plants from France as well as 18 oxygen tankers from Bangkok.
Further, CM Kejriwal said, “We are importing 21 ready-to-use oxygen plants from France. They can be brought to use immediately. These will be installed at different hospitals and this will help us in resolving oxygen crisis in those hospitals”.

Adding further, CM Kejriwal said, “The Delhi government has decided to import 18 oxygen tankers from Bangkok, they’ll start arriving from tomorrow We’ve requested the center to allow the use of air force planes for this. Talks are on, I’m very hopeful that talks will be successful. This will resolve the issue of transport.”
Furthermore, Delhi Chief Minister expressed benignity towards all the assistance & support that the government is getting. He said, “I had written to many industrialists of the country in last four to five days. I had also written to Chief Ministers and sought help. We are receiving tremendous support, we have received offers from many people. Many of them are helping. I thank everyone who is helping the Delhi government.”
Well, according to the union health ministry, Delhi now comes on the list of ten states that account for 71.68% of the total cases in the country. The total number of cases reported in the last 24 hours is 3,23,023. While the number of total cases in the national capital stands at 1.05 million.
