– Tony Schiavone welcomes us to another episode of Dark: Elevation as we get reactions shots from the crowd before going to our first match.
Chuck Taylor (w/Trent) vs. Rey Fenix (w/Penta El Zero Miedo)
Fenix quickly drops Taylor and tries to apply a submission, but Taylor reverses it. A couple of takedowns as Fenix catches Taylor in a backslide pin for a two count. Taylor now applying an Octopus Hold. Fenix escapes but runs into an arm drag takedown taking him out of the ring. He re-enters and trades wristlocks before tagging Taylor with a few thunderous chops. Fenix goes outside of the ring and hits a neckbreaker on Taylor sending him outside, and Fenix hits a sliding dropkick on the outside.
Fenix with another thunderous chop before sending Taylor back in the ring and trying to apply a double wristlock. Taylor rises up and hits a knee lift to escape the hold, but Fenix meets Taylor with a big dropkick. He then slams Taylor’s head on the middle rope and gets in Trent’s face. He comes back in for a cover for a one count. Fenix hits a thrust kick soon after and gets a two count on the cover. Taylor whips Fenix in the corner, but Fenix gets the boot up.
He elevates over the top and tries for a German Suplex, but Talyor counters it and elevates over the top and hits a German Suplex of his own! Blue Thunder Bomb from Taylor only gives him a two count. Fenix powers out of a piledriver and hits a tijeras on Taylor sending him face first on the corner turnbuckle. He then rolls through for a cutter, cover, 1-2-no! Taylor send into the corner. Fenix goes over the top and hits an open-hand chop. He bounces off the ropes, but Taylor tags him with Soul Food followed up by a piledriver, cover but Fenix kicks out!

Alex Abrahantes comes in and tries to translate a message. Orange Cassidy walks in. Penta wipes out Cassidy with a thrust kick as a group of referees try to break things up. Fenix takes advantage of the distraction by rolling up Taylor in a crucifix and poses for the win.

– Schiavone and Paul Wight welcome us to Dark: Elevation once again and preview tonight’s show.
Ryan Nemeth (w/ JD Drake, Peter Avalon, Cezar Bononi) vs. Ryzin
Nemeth with a quick takedown as he taunts Ryzin. Double hair and ear tug as Ryzin gets a shot in on Ryzin. Drake distracts referee Aubrey Edwards and Bononi helps out Nemeth. Nemeth now in full control as he applies the double wristlock and does a handstand while doing so. Nemeth with an eye rake forces a break. Ryzin sent into the corner as Nemeth tries to feed off the boos and does some hip shakes before a corner spear.
Ryzin responds by charging in at Nemeth with a lariat. He sets him up for a kick on the second turnbuckle. Bodyslam as he goes up top, but Avalon and Bononi try to distract him. Ryzin fights Avalon off and tries for a senton atomico, but Nemeth gest the knees up. Nemeth hits the Rude Awakening for the win.

Orange Cassidy vs. Dean Alexander
Alexander throws his fur coat and sunglasses at Cassidy. Cassidy wipes it away and throws his jean jacket at Alexander. Cassidy hands his sunglasses over to referee Bryce Remsburg and puts on his elbow pad. Alexander pushes Cassidy down before he can put his hands in his pockets. Cassidy still puts his hands in his pockets while laying down and kips up, runs the ropes and hits a dropkick. Cassidy ducks a lariat and hits the Orange Punch for the win.
Winner: Orange Cassidy
– Nemeth, Avalon and Bononi are backstage. Nemeth is glad to have Avalon back. Drake enters in with his new shirt from last week. Avalon wants “a nice rotation.” Avalon unbuttons a button on Drake’s shirt. “Skin is in.” Everyone gets their pinkies in.

– Caster diss rap. “He gonna knock you out quick like Ben Askren.” Caster was going to say that their opponent will get on their knees and suck (private parts), but Bowens takes the mic and corrects him and say that they’ll get on their knees and pray.

Adrian Alanis & Liam Gray vs. The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster)
Bowens starting off strong, but Gray tagging Bowens with a dropkick. Bowens then slams Gray’s neck right on the top rope. Caster tags in, and The Acclaimed combine for an elbow drop / shotgun dropkick combo for two. Caster now applying a chin lock. Caster keeping the pressure on Gray cutting the ring in half. Bowens tags in, and The Acclaimed hit a double suplex for a two count. Bowens fires in heavy shots on Gray as Caster tags in and keeps the pressure up.
Caster applying a cravat as Gray tries to fight out of it. He does so with a jawbreaker, but Caster catches him with a pumphandle suplex. Alanis tags in and takes out Bowens and hits a spinebuster on Caster. Bowens tags him with a kick, but Alanis runs the ropes and hits a slingblade neckbreaker for a two count. Gray tags in and tries to go up top, but Bowens pushes Alanis onto Gray. Discus elbow tags out Alanis. The Acclaimed hit Acclaim to Fame for the win.

– 5 and Alex Reynolds are in the Dark Order lounge. Reynolds notes that while 5 is Dark Order, he’s not John Silver. 5 tries his best Silver impression, but he says the real focus is their opponents Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky. Reynolds says they’ll give them something to cry about. “A loss to us.”

VSK vs. Nick Comoroto (w/ The Factory)
Comoroto starting out hot showing off his dominance. VSK tries to fire back with a chop. He gets a boot up in the corner and fires in elbows, a jawbreaker and a dropkick, but he runs into a big lariat. QT tells Comoroto to finish it off. Comoroto hits a military press powerslam for the win.

– Post-match: QT calls for one more, and Comoroto hits one more military press powerslam.
– AEW “Rising Star” vignette with Leyla Hirsch as she tells her journey to AEW. Hirsch talks about how she got into pro wrestling and her amateur wrestling background. Hirsch admits she doesn’t see herself as an underdog. She talks about her journey to WxW and to Stardom and eventually to AEW. “I’m not here to look pretty. I’m not here to show off my body. “I’m here to win.” Hirsch ends by saying, “Keep underestimating my size and you’re going to find out why I’m legit.”

Amber Nova & Diamante vs. Leyla Hirsch & Ryo Mizunami
Nova and Hirsch start this tag match off as Hirsch gets off a quick takedown and applies a waistlock. Mizunami tags in and lays in a heavy shot on Nova. Mizunami throws Nova into her own corner and invites Diamante in. Diamante tags in, and the two lock up. Diamante with an eye rake during a break on the ropes. Diamante with a double choke, but Mizunami fires through and tags in Hirsch. Hirsch and Mizunami try teaming up, but Diamante and Nova cut them off. Diamante hits a suplex, lateral press for a two count.
Nova tags in as Nova sends Hirsch head first in the corner for a two count. Hirsch throws Nova across the ring and tags in Mizunami who fires in shoulder blocks on Diamante and Nova. Mizunami runs through Diamante and Nova knocking them both down. Mizunami fires in chops and hits her Machine Gun Chops. Hirsch with a double knee strike and a senton. Mizunami providing an assist on the senton, cover, but Diamante breaks it up. Diamante hits a standing Sliced Bread, Nova covers, but Mizunami breaks it up. Hirsch applies the cross armbreaker on Nova, and Nova taps out.

– Post-match: Diamante attacks Hirsch as Mizunami provides an assist running her off. Diamante vs. Hirsch is official for next week’s Dark.
– Sky and Page are backstage with Dasha as Sky are trying to figure out tag team names. “Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky” is Sky’s idea. Page doesn’t like it. “Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page” is Page’s idea. Dasha tries to ask them about Dark Order. Sky puts over Dark Order, but he says, “I’m a wrestling savant.” He puts over Page and calls him “a tag team specialist.” Page sends a warning to Dark Order. “Good luck keeping up with Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page.”

Tesha Price vs. Kris Statlander (w/Chuck Taylor, Orange Cassidy & Trent)
Statlander boops Remsburg as she tries to boop Price, but Price is having none of it. Statlander with a quick headlock takedown. Snapmare roll through as she tries to boop Price but Price again is having none of it and slaps Statlander’s hand away. Price goes at Statlander’s knee and hits a dropkick. Statlander catches Price with a powerslam.

Price evades from the corner and tries for a cartwheel kick. Statlander evades and hits a German Suplex in the corner! Price ducks a kick and hits one of her own. Statlander counters a lariat into a backbreaker. Big Bang Theory piledriver gives Statlander the win.

– Post-match: Best Friends, Cassidy and Statlander give the people what they want with a zoom out hug. Statlander catches Trent off the trust fall.
Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky vs. Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & Alan “5” Angels)
Reynolds and Sky start off this tag match. Sky ducks a lock up and talks trash. They lock up as Reynolds applies a side headlock, but Sky counters into a takedown and walks over Reynolds as Page talks trash. Reynolds now ducks a lock up and does some trash talking. Sky runs into an arm drag, and Reynolds counters and arm drag and rolls through into a crucifix pin for two and catches Sky in another arm drag.
Sky reaches for the ropes and takes a shot at Reynolds off the break. Page tags in, but Reynolds tags hi with a punch and tags in 5. Double drop toehold and a splash from 5. Sky dropped on the middle rope. 5 hits It’s Gonna Suck on Sky as he goes to work on Page in the corner with punches then a dropkick for two. 5 with an Irish Whip, but Sky catches Page. 5 takes out Sky, but Page runs him through with a shoulder tackle.
Sky tags in and stomps on 5 in the corner. Sky with clubbing blows on 5 and stomps on his head. Page tags in and continues the pressure on 5 as Reynolds tries to get the crowd going. 5 with a kick to the knee, but he runs into a powerslam. 5 reaching for a tag, but Page sends him into his corner and tags in Sky.
