Dhaka, Apr 26 (UNI) Bangladesh government has decided to extend the ongoing restrictions for one more week till May 5 to curb the spread of coronavirus.
The decision was taken at an inter-ministerial meeting organized by the Cabinet Division on Monday.
Farhad Hossen, State Minister for the Public Administration, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
A gazette notification will be issued on Tuesday in this regard, the State Minister said.
To be noted, the first phase of strict lockdown started on April 14 and ended on April 21 midnight. The second phase started from 0600 hrs on April 22 and will continue till April 28.
