IRCTC temporarily suspends operations of Tejas Express amid corona concerns

The status is being monitored continuously and decision to operate the train will be taken accordingly.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has informed to the exchange regarding changes in the train schedule amid rising corona cases. 

Earlier on this month, IRCTC informed regarding temporary suspension of operation of Ahemdabad Mumbai Tejas Express [Train No. 82902182901, ADI-MMCT-ADI Tejas Express] for a period of one month, w.e.f 2nd April, 2021.

ln this context, IRCTC further informed that due to rise in case of Corona infection in State of Maharashtra and Gujarat, and Travel related restrictions, suspension of operation of the above-mentioned train is further extended till 31st May,2021.

The status is being monitored continuously and decision to operate the train will be taken accordingly.

Further, on 7th April, 2021 IRCTC informed regarding temporary discontinuation of the services for Lucknow- New Delhi Tejas Express [Train No. 82501- 02] from 9th April to 30th April,2021.

ln this context, IRCTC informed that due to rise in case of Corona infection in the country and travel related restrictions; operation of the above-mentioned train is also being suspended till further advice.

IRCTC ended at Rs1,731.25 apiece up by Rs19.05 or 1.11% from its previous closing of Rs1,712.20 apiece on the BSE.
