One of a popular name among the writers of Manipur, Rameshwar Sharungbam has involved in many literary work. From his childhood, he is fond of writing. He is a music enthuasist and also likes Sumang Leela and drama etc.

His poems were telecast in All India Radio Imphal, his poems and short stories were also published in local daily newspaper, journals too. Rameshwar is also associated with various Literary organisations. Edited books of poems. He is an approved lyricist of All India Radio Imphal. He is a writer of lyrical songs of some popular Manipuri feature films.
