You have to understand the very poor demographics, it's basically to help prevent hunger among children, you only see this emphasis in very poor areas.

Because their deadbeat single moms are out buying tattoos cigs and drinks with their government assistance money and dont have anything left over to feed their 7 kids so we all get to take care of it.

It's a double edged sword. On one hand, I'm glad kids are fed. On the other hand, parents should be responsible and take care of the children they have. Too many people are being incentivised to be poor and lazy.

We had a similar debate in the UK not long ago. My view is how f’d up and selfish do you have to be to think this is a bad idea?
The amount of people in here boasting they are earning 100k plus a year. But when it comes to paying an extra dollar or two a month to feed hungry kids they throw a b£&ch fit.
