Renowned poet Tirunagari Ramanujaiah passes away ; CM condoles

Hyderabad, Apr 26 (UNI) Renowned poet Tirunagari Ramanujaiah passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital here on Monday.
He was 75.
Ramanujaiah had penned around 40 books including five volumes of Tirunagareeyam besides Vasantam Kosam, Baala Veera Satakam, Maa Palle and Ee Bhoomi.
Tirunagari Ramanujaiah had received Dasarathi Krishnamacharya award for 2020.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has mourned the death of a noted poet and State government’s Dasaradhi awardee Tirunagari Ramanujaiah.
The Chief Minister said Tirunagari’s free-verse poetry was a judicious mix of the traditional culture and modern values.
Mr Rao recalled the rich contributions made by Tirunagari, who hailed from Alair in the united Nalgonda district to the Telugu poetry and said his death, is a loss to the literary world.
He conveyed his condolences to members of the bereaved family.
