The family of Mukherjee, a resident of Ward 31 of South Dumdum Municipality, claimed that the corona report of the 63-year-old patient came positive on Saturday. The treatment was going on at home. But due to shortness of breath yesterday, the beds did not match even after visiting different hospitals. As a result, old people die due to lack of oxygen.
Meanwhile, the death of a corona in the area has caused a stir in the area. According to the family members, the head of the family died at home at around 2 last night. About 16 hours passed but the municipality did not take the body. Laketown police were notified, but police went to the scene, but said those who exhumed the bodies demanded Rs 15,000. He is survived by his wife and daughter, both of whom are corona positive. There is also a three-year-old child at home. As a result, the family is lost. They have made allegations of negligence against the police and the municipality.
