Hina Khan's father passed away on April 20. Hina Khan wasn't in the city when her father suffered a cardiac arrest at their residence in Mumbai. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress had been shooting for a song in Kashmir with Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke actor Shaheer Sheikh. As soon as she got the news, the actress rushed to Mumbai. Post Hina Khan's father's news, all her friends and colleagues from the entertainment industry sent condolences. Now, post her father's demise, Hina Khan has shared a note on Instagram. She also revealed that she will be taking a break from social media and her team will handle her account if there are any promotional posts to be shared. Hina Khan wrote, "My beloved father Aslam Khan left for heavenly abode on the 20th of April, 2021. I am grateful to each one of you for checking in on me and my family during these tough times. While me and my family are mourning the loss, my social media accounts will be handled by my team for upcoming work commitments. Thank you for your support and love." The news of Hina Khan's father's demise came as a shock for all her friends from the industry as well. Her father passed away during the holy month of Ramadan. Recently, Hina Khan's friend, Gauahar Khan was trolled as she did not share any tweet or post for Hina Khan's father. The actress had gone live on Instagram on Thursday to chat with her fans. However, the happy conversation turned bad when people started asking her why she did not post anything for Hina Khan's father. As soon as Gauahar read out the question, she got angry and slammed the follower and said how one doesn’t need to express all their emotions on social media.
