Corona curfew extends in areas of Bhopal, Berasia till 3 May amid escalating contagion

Corona Curfew in Bhopal and Berasia gets extended till the 3rd of May, 2021. The situation of Madhya Pradesh is getting grave; 12,918 cases were reported in the state in a span of 24 hours.

Amid the surge in the contagious Coronavirus, the curfew has been extended in some of the parts of Bhopal and Berasia till the 3rd of May, 6 AM. The decision has been promulgated on Sunday.

In this regard,  there came a tweet pertaining to the same from the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister’s office, “#COVID19 Keeping in mind the safety of common citizens from infection, the Corona curfew has been extended till 3 May at 6 am in Bhopal Municipal Corporation area and Berasia municipality area.”

Well, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the state stands at 4,86,000 with 12,918 cases reported in the last 24 hours.

Although, the situation is quite not well in the state. Madhya Pradesh has witnessed in severe jump in the COVID-19 cases in the last one week. MP’s commercial capital, Indore, witnesses the highest number of Covid-19 cases. Capital Bhopal and Jabalpur have reported the second and third highest figures respectively.

States like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Kerala and Delhi, too have been included in the center’s watchlist with a view to combat the pandemic.

Furthermore, the situation of the national capital can’t be left out in the cold where the hospitals are struggling for proper oxygen supply and the related equipment.
