CHANDIGARH: Gurugram’s overall Covid count on Sunday crossed one lakh mark as
Haryana on reported 10985 cases and 64 new deaths during the day. The deaths did not include the four which occurred in Rewari. However 6057 persons recovered during the day.
With the overall count of the state has gone to 424319 cases, 346304 recoveries 3767 deaths, and 74248 active cases. Active cases include 1599 serious patients who are on oxygen support and ventilator support Covid care centres across the state.
Haryana’s Covid positivity rate has gone to 5.95% and recovery rate has come to 81.61%. As many as 46989 persons were tested during the day.
Notably, Gurugram reported the highest 11 deaths followed by 10 deaths from
Faridabad. Seven deaths were reported from
Hisar and six deaths were reported from
Karnal, Five deaths were reported from Ambala and Sonipat districts while four death were reported from
Sirsa. Three deaths each were reported from Rewari and
Panchkula districts. Two deaths each were reported from Kaithal, Jhajjar,
Bhiwani and Kurukshetra district. While one death each was reported from Jind and Fatehad districts.
Notably, Gurugram’s overall count reached 103298 as the district reported 3410 new cases. District has seen 429 deaths and there are 25085 active cases. Faridabad reported second highest 1560 cases where tally has gone to 65294 cases, 486 deaths and 9653 active cases.
Hisar saw 940 cases which took district count to 25481 cases, 386 deaths and /5367 active cases.
Sonepat reported 610 cases where overall count reached 24795 cases, 117 deaths and 5302 active cases. Karnal reported 570 cases where tally has reached 23460cases 217 deaths and 4375 active cases.
Panipat saw a surge of 491 cases followed Sirsa with 469cases , Panchkula 368 cases, Ambala 340 cases, Yamunanagar 298 cases, Mahindergarh 292 cases, Jind 289 cases, Kurukshetra 276 cases, Jhajjar 217 cases.
Bhiwani reported 172 cases followed by Rohtak 150, Fatehabad 149 and Rewari 115 cases.
Rest districts reported less than 100 cases.
