In today's times, social media works as boon and bane both. On one hand it serves as one of the essential modes of communication, on the other it also serves one with online bullying, negativity and harassment. In the past, several B-Town stars like Amit Sadh, Samir Soni, Sonakshi Sinha, Aamir Khan, Hazel Keech have quit social media. While some of them found it sickening and pretentious, others stated their workout videos and vacation pictures are not going to help people during these tough times. Joining the bandwagon is actress Warina Hussain, who made her big Bollywood debut with 'Loveyatri' opposite Aayush Sharma. The actress recently took to her social media handle to make this announcement. Following the footsteps of Aamir Khan, Warina in her latest post, revealed that she will no longer be using social media. However, she wished to keep her friends and fans in the loop, while crediting them for being her strength. Warina's note read as, 'I remember reading somewhere that you don't have to announce your departure because this isn't an airport but I'll do so for my friends and fans, whose love has always been my strength. This is my last social media post but my team will continue to manage my account so you can stay up to date on my work. Lots of love - Alien.' Captioning the same, she wrote, 'in Aamir sirs language dropping the pretense.' Earlier too, the actress who enjoys a huge fan following on Instagram took a month off from social media last year, calling it a 'social media detox.' In her interviews, she has always mentioned that she does not consider herself to be social media savvy. Meanwhile, on the work front, Warina Hussain has completed shooting for her film 'The Incomplete Man'. She will be soon making her debut in the South. The actress has a Telugu film along with Kalyan Ram.
