Black Leopards 1-1 SuperSport United - MATCH REPORT

Stellenbosch 0-1 Bloemfontein Celtic

Stellenbosch came from behind to force a share of the spoils as they played to a 1-1 draw in a DStv Premiership clash against Bloemfontein Celtic at the Danie Craven stadium.

In a game of few clear goal-scoring chances, Sello Matjila gave Celtic the lead just after the half-hour mark when he found himself free at the far-post and headed into the back of the net.

The home team tied things up in the 71st minute when they were awarded a penalty and Junior Mendieta made no mistake from the spot to make it 1-1.

The result puts a dent in Celtic's hopes for a top-eight finish as they stay in 10 position in the standings while a point takes Stellies further away from relegation trouble.
