The Second Wave of Corona has caused huge panic among the public as the number of positive cases are upsurging exponentially every day. The number of death toll also has increased to new heights and this has caused a Nation wide panic among the people. India is running out of Oxygen and hospital beds. People are losing jobs once again as several industries are shut down.

In this case, tamil Nadu becomes the first state in south india to initiate a complete lockdown on Sundays. But after discussion with health secretary and officials, tamil Nadu Goverment has imposed lots of restrictions on the lockdown. As per the new lockdown rules, only 50 people are allowed for a marriage function and 25 people are allowed inside graveyard for a burial.

Cinema Halls, Bars, Gyms, Saloons, Shopping Malls will be under a complete lockdown. Hotels and Restaurants can operate only for parcel services and no dine-in will be permitted. Also, all places of Worship will be closed until further notice. All these restrictions will take place until april 30th. It should be noted that, Vote counting for tamil Nadu assembly elections will take place on May 2, 2021.
