BHUBANESWAR: The state government on Friday asked district collectors to keep Covid call centres active and responsive on a 24x7 basis in view of the surge in cases. During a review meeting, chief secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra directed healthcare officials to reach out to patients within least possible time and monitor home isolation cases closely. Mohapatra said serious patients should be brought to hospitals as and when family members or the patient needs it.
