CUTTACK: Notorious gangster Sk Hyder, who had tested positive for Covid-19, and is currently lodged in the Choudwar Jail near here sought judicial intervention on Friday for proper treatment in view of his purportedly deteriorating health condition. He filed a petition in the court of the Judicial Magistrate First Class (City), Cuttack, through advocate Satya Ranjan Mulia. Hyder was brought back to Odisha from Telangana on April 16, five days after he escaped from the SCB Medical College Hospital. On that day, the Court of JMFC (City), Cuttack allowed Manglabag police to take him on a seven-day remand in connection with the case from April 17.
