South African golfer Garrick Higgo shot a seven-under 63 during the third round of the Gran Canaria Open to take a two-stroke lead going into the final round.
Starting the day three day off the leaders, Higgo made a fast start, going five under for the round after just four holes.
He finished the front nine in 29 shots but only managed to shoot 34 on the back nine.
"It was good. An unbelievable start, obviously," said Higgo after his round.
"I wasn't playing that well, I think it's definitely the course where you can hit it off line. I putted well, my chipping has been great, so I definitely scored very well. A couple of times we were in some funny spots and I couldn't believe where I hit them.
"I'm definitely going to try and be aggressive if I can but I'm just going to enjoy it. It's a good spot to be in."
Matthias Schwab, Matthieu Pavon and Connor Syme are tied for second place going into the final round.
South African's Justin Harding and Dean Burmester are currently tied for 5th on 197.
