Are lumber distributors withholding a large amount of the supply to inflate prices?

I was listening to radio and indeed it seems like some people are withholding the supply. But the issue was many of the resin plans (spelling?) shut down due to covid restrictions or covid outbreaks and this was also further worsen by people doing home office builds or renovations.

we are only withholding to supply are main customers/contractors. tuff luck outsiders
