The Ndlovu Youth Choir are teaming up with Master KG and Africa Rising to bring fans a spectacular virtual event on Sunday.
The online concert, which will be free to access, will see the stars perform live from historic landmark, Robben Island.
"The livestream will be happening on Sunday at 17:00. It's a collaboration with Master KG and the Ndlovu Youth Choir -- pretty much the two biggest artists that have come out of our country in the last year," Africa Rising director Craig Bright tells Channel24.
While the event is free to watch, viewers are encouraged to make donations, if possible.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Feed Our Crew organisation -- "an initiative to help the events industry and people who are really, really struggling; the artists along with all the technical crews who haven't be able to work for the last year," Craig explains.
About what to expect from the concert, Ndlovu Youth Choir member Sandile Majola says it's going to be a once in a lifetime experience.
"I just want everyone to understand that it's going to be an experience that they'll never forget, and it's an experience that everyone needs during these difficult times. Joy, fun, happiness, good vibes, good everything, it's going to be fire!"
The virtual event takes place on Sunday, 25 April, from 16:00 to 18:00. Tune in to the livestream at weareafricarising.live.
