Weekend curfew imposed in Uttar Pradesh
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched a dedicated website 'oxytracker' for transparent availability of oxygen to the Hospitals.
In Uttar Pradesh, the two day curfew has been imposed from last evening which will continue till 7:00 a.m. on Monday morning.
All activities except emergency services will be closed during this curfew. Sanitization and vaccination will continue on these days and industrial units will also work during this period.
According to the state government, the marriages on Saturday and Sunday can take place as scheduled, however it must be done with restrictions.
Meanwhile amid rising demand for oxygen to treat Covid-19 patients, the state government yesterday appointed 3 senior officers at the covid command centre in secretariat to deal with the demand and supply of oxygen to the hospitals in state.

On the other hand apex MSME chamber Indian Industries Association (IIA) has urged its members for limiting the use of industrial oxygen, and make additional oxygen available to the state government for medical use.
