Samsung Galaxy A22 5G arrives on Geekbench with Dimensity 700 SoC

Now that the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G has been spotted on Google Play Console, the company has decided to add one more device to its A-series flagship, Galaxy A22 5G. The smartphone has arrived on Geekbench powering Dimensity 700 SoC.

The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G carries the model number SM-A226B. It boots Android 11 paired with 6GB of RAM. The phone scored 562-points in the single-core test and 1,765-points in the multi-core section.

Galaxy A22 5G expected Specifications

According to past leaks, Galaxy A22 5G will feature a 6.5-inch Infinity-V panel with a waterdrop notch display and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the other side, the device is likely to house a square-shaped triple camera module.

Leaks suggest that there will be a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide lens, and a couple of 2MP sensors at the back. On the other side, the waterdrop notch could carry a 13MP shooter.

At the bottom, the phone could provide connectivity options like a USB-C Type-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy A22 5G in the second half of 2021  in four color variants with a price tag of around USD 200 i.e; approx. INR Rs 15,000.
