After the rumors of Sumitra Mahajan`s death, her younger son Mandhar Mahajan had released a video message on Thursday night saying that his mother is very healthy. Mandar had also appealed to the people not to ignore these rumors.
Police have registered a case against the unidentified accused following rumors that spread on social media over the demise of former Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan (Sumitra Mahajan). On the complaint of former councilor Sudhir Dedge, a case has been registered in the Sarafha police station.
Station in-charge Sunil Sharma said that on the complaint of local BJP leader and former councilor Sudhir Dedge, this case has been registered under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
According to the station in charge Sunil Sharma, the complainant has also handed us a screenshot attached to the rumored post spread on social media regarding the demise of Mahajan (Sumitra Mahajan). On the basis of which the matter is being investigated and it is being ascertained that who first spread the rumor of Mahajan`s death on social media.
Shashi Tharoor had made this tweet, tells that the market of rumors of the death of former MP of Indore Mahajan had become hot late on Thursday night. Even Congress leader Shashi Tharoor and some media organizations had posted false information on Mahajan`s demise on Twitter. After this, the BJP leaders said that the former Lok Sabha Speaker is completely healthy. Then later Tharoor and others deleted their tweets.
