Mamata Banerjee alleges Centre of diverting Oxygen supply of Bengal to Uttar Pradesh
Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, in a press conference, on Friday, launched several attacks on the central government.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, on Friday, attacking the government, said that the oxygen supply headed to West Bengal is being diverted to Uttar Pradesh by the Centre.
While addressing a press conference at Durgapur, West Bengal, CM Mamata Banerjee launched a fresh attack on central government. She said, “To win West Bengal, the Bharatiya Janata Party has increased the Coronavirus infection across the country. Our oxygen supply chain has been diverted to Uttar Pradesh”.
Adding further, she said, “The supply chain is being maintained in BJP states. There are only 20,000 oxygen cylinders in the state. Where will we get oxygen from? The central government wants to worsen the situation in West Bengal”.

Bengal CM, accusing the central government of being cavalier, says, “Due to negligence of the central government the Covid-19 cases have increased. The WHO has earlier instructed to stock oxygen. Why did they not do that? There’s no medicine in the country, still, they exported them to other countries,” as quoted by ANI.
Furthermore, CM Banerjee reacts to the ban imposed by the Election Commission on road shows with massive throngs, and public meetings, she said, “I accepted it for the sake of people. The EC just listens to the BJP,” as quoted by ANI.
Although, the EC has already put a moratorium on road shows, rallies, public meetings, or any other activity that ultimately leads to gatherings. It has been in effect since Thursday evening.
Well, the West Bengal assembly election, which is scheduled to be held in eight phases, will end on the 29thof April with the eighth and last phase of the election. Results for the same will be promulgated on the 2nd of May, 2021.
