Srinagar, Apr 23 (UNI) Over six shops were damaged after a portion of a hill collapsed due to incessant rain during the past 36 hours in central Kashmir district of Budgam on Friday, official sources said.
They said over six shops constructed on a hill top at Gulshanabad in Charar-e-Sharief in Budgam district collapsed and fell into deep gorge after it (portion of hill) collapsed.
However, there was no report of any loss of life, they said, adding property worth lakhs of rupees had been damaged.
