Thread: Mortal Kombat movie discussion *spoiler alert*

Just finished the movie and it was good but also kind of a let down, I would give it 6/10 as a mortal kombat fan.

I don’t know why they made the main character something new with some lame power. Also scorpion was barely in the film.. didn’t have much of a story either

Character breakdown in my opinion

- Kabal 10/10 (amazing costume, cgi and acting)

- Jax 9/10 (did a pretty good job telling his story in a short time, good acting)

- Kano 10/10 (really good acting)

- reptile 6/10 (should’ve been more acid involved)

- Sonya 7/10 (not much to say)

- Scorpion 8/10 (needed more scenes)

- sub zero 7/10 (good cgi but why was the ice scenes moving so slow. Should’ve been able to make ice walls instantly considering he was perfecting his power for years)

Raiden 2/10 (acting felt cheesy, costume meh)

Liu Kang 9/10 (good acting and cgi)

Kung lao 9/10 (has a good fatality scene)


Mileena 8/10 (not much to say)

Nitara 7/10 (seemed pretty weak)

Shang tsung 4/10 (meh acting, cheesy costume)

Cole young 1/10 (unnecessary new character with lame power)

Goro 9/10 (amazing cgi but why make him so weak. He’s suppose to be a MK champion)

I know I missed a few but goes to show how forgettable they are
