Sony has started testing a new streaming service named PlayStation Plus Video Pass in Poland. The service first leaked earlier this week but was later accidentally revealed by Sony itself. Since then, the company has officially acknowledged the existence of the service and has said that it will be in a year-long testing period for the time being.

As the name suggests, PlayStation Plus Video Pass is an added video streaming service for PlayStation Plus subscribers. It is accessible as a dedicated application to anyone who is a PS Plus user in Poland. The service consists of a number of movies and TV shows that can be watched through the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 console. Sony says new titles will be added after every three months.

The official statement revealed that the testing will go on until April 22nd, 2022. It is currently limited to Poland but there are no words on expansion to other markets. It is also uncertain whether the service will exit the beta stage next year. We will have to wait to get answers to all these questions. In the meantime, you can check out the list of movies and TV shows available for now.
