Lalu Ji is one of the most powerful politician in Indian history and him even waving his hand was more than enough to denote the power he commanded and so to get that persona right was very difficult yet a good experience. Sohum Shah has worked very hard to prepare for the role. He has gained almost 12 kgs and grown a moustache to get into the look for the politician's character. The web series Maharani will be the first time when the Tumbbad fame actor will play the role of a politician.
