Online film appreciation course from June

Imphal, April 21 2021:
Meghachandra Kongbam, president of Film Society of Manipur in a statement has informed that the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI)-India chapter is organising the Online film appreciation course 2021 from the 1st week of June 2021 .
He further informed that the duration of the course will be 8 weeks (every Saturday and Sunday) .
There will be altogether 18 sessions, he said adding that the duration of each session will be 90 minutes.
Further informing that the registration fee for the course is Rs 500, but there will be no course fee, Meghachandra added that a maximum number of participants is 50 .
He also said that certificates will be issued to the participants on completion of the course.
Eminent Professors from film institutes and universities and film scholars will teach the participants, said the president of Film Society of Manipur and maintained that the objective of the course is to groom the film enthusiasts with the latest information of film appreciation and criticism for the promotion and development of film culture.

FIPRESCI is an association of the National organizations of professional film critics and film journalists from 50 countries worldwide.
It was founded on 6th June 1930 at Academy Palace in Brussels, Belgium.
