US President Joe Biden declares to cut greenhouse gas emission by half by 2030

US President Joe Biden tenders his views towards the environment as well as how climate change is connected to magnanimous opportunities for job creation.

Presenting his vision towards a greener economy, President Joe Biden, on Thursday, announced that the United States, in order to provide for a safer environment, will cut down on greenhouse house gas emissions by half by 2030.

President Biden said that the step will be taken in order to combat climate change. He also requested the world leaders to lay down their visions towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

According to CNN, in an address opening ‘Leaders summit on climate’, Biden laid out his vision towards a greener economy in which people across all sectors will understand the gravity of climate change. President Biden also threw light on producing more and more jobs for blue-collar workers.

In addition to this, Biden greeted the world leaders for taking part in the summit stating that “Your leadership on this issue is a statement to every nation especially our young people who were ready to meeting this moment”.

Further, he adds, “Meeting this moment is about more than preserving this planet. It is also about providing a better future for all of us. That’s why, when we talk about climate, I think about jobs,” as quoted by ANI.

Additionally, President Biden focussed on producing jobs for blue-collar workers keeping in mind the climate aspect. According to him, focussing on climate is an opportunity to create millions of good-paying middle-class union jobs.”

According to President Biden, there’s massive job creation and economic opportunity lies within the response towards the climate.
