Hola, it’s Thursday. The day we bring TRP reports of the week for y’all Indian television fans. The last week has been a tough one for everyone, especially the producers of various TV shows. Since a lockdown was announced in the last week due to rising cases in the country. Almost every TV show moved its shooting bases out of Maharashtra to continue with the show. Thanks to having shot a bank of episodes in advance, the shows had episodes airing on the usual time slots. So, despite all the hullaballoo, how well have fared the TV shows in the TRPs? Anupamaa
Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey starrer Anupamaa continue to rule the roost on the TRP charts. With 3.0 million viewership impressions the show has grabbed the top post yet again. Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey had tested positive for coronavirus and hence the story had moved its focus from Anupamaa and Vanraj’s divorce and taken another course for a while. Imlie/ Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin
In the latest episode of Imlie, we saw Malini aka Mayuri Deshmukh questioning Imlie aka Sumbul Touqeer’s proximity to Aditya aka Gashmeer Mahajani. On the other hand, in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, we saw Sayi aka Ayesha Singh getting Pulkit aka Yash Pandit and Devyani aka Mitaali Nag married much to the Chavan’s chagrin. As a result, Virat aka Neil Bhatt throws her out of the house. Sayi insults the entire family in front of the neighbhours and vows to never return. We also saw Virat learning the truth. With 2.5 million viewership impressions each, Imlie and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin have tied at the second spot. Indian Idol 12/ Super Dancer Chapter 4
Two reality TV shows tied at the third spot. Indians love reality TV shows. While Indian Idol 12 is a singing show, Super Dancer is a dance competition between kids. In the last week, we saw a Ram Navami special episode. Super Dancer Chapter 4’s grand premiere took place last week. With 2.3 million viewership impressions each, Indian Idol 12 and Super Dancer Chapter 4 are tied at the 3rd spot this week.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai/ Kundali Bhagya
In last week’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we saw Gangaur Puja taking place and Sirat taking part in the same. Karan Kundrra has entered the show as Sirat’s former lover. In Kundali Bhagya, on the other hand, we saw Preeta getting arrested on the suspicion of murdering Akshay. Karan and Preeta who are separated were missing each other. With 2.1 million viewership impressions each, Kundali Bhagya and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are at the 4th spot on the list.
Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2/ Yeh Hai Chahtein
In the latest episodes of Saath Nibhana Saathiya, we saw Anant resuming work. He starts working alongside Radhika, Anant’s former fiancée. Gehna gets arrested for cheating and the Desais desperately tries to reach Anant who is unavailable for some reason. On the other hand, in Yeh Hai Chahatein, we saw Preesha aka Sargun Kaur Luthra learning the real intentions of Sulochana and Kabir. With 2.0 million viewership impressions Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 and Yeh Hai Chahatein are tied on the fifth spot.
