Indian Actress and climate warrior Bhumi Pednekar launches Environmental Footprint Calculator on the occasion of Earth Day, 2021.

On the occasion of Earth Day, Bollywood star and climate advocate Bhumi Pednekar along with her Climate Warrior advocacy initiative has joined hands with the preloved thrifting store Dolce Vee and launched the Dolce Vee Environmental Footprint Calculator.

Every year April 22 is observed as Earth Day to mark the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970. The day brings with it a reminder to do better for our planet and takes responsibility for a greener and better future.

The year 2021 marks the 51st anniversary of the annual celebrations. This year’s theme for Earth Day is ‘Restore Our Earth’. As the world celebrates the ‘beauty of nature’ and environment, Bollywood actress and climate warrior Bhumi Pednekar along with her Climate Warrior advocacy initiative has joined hands with preloved thrifting store Dolce Vee, and launched the Dolce Vee Environmental Footprint Calculator.

it is for the first time when someone will buy a piece of preloved clothing, one will also be able to see the estimated water and carbon savings associated with it.

The ‘Durgamati’ star is leading by example. Bhumi will go live on her social media platform for a live session to give a live demo of how the calculator works, and fans will be able to send in information on their clothing for a live on-the-spot assessment of the Water and Carbon statistics associated with their clothes.

Bhumi will be wearing a preloved piece during the session herself, she has made it easy for everyone to contribute to mother earth and be a ‘Climate Warrior’.
