Share price of Ambuja Cements falls as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Ltd. slipped 0.2 per cent to Rs 295.2 in Thursday's trade as of 12:54PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 296.25 and low of Rs 285.3 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 10.39 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 12:54PM shares and turnover at Rs 10.41 crore around that time.

The stock of Ambuja Cements Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 329.9 and Rs 161.55, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.44.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 63.29 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while FIIs held 17.75 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 12.11 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 7552.73 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2020, up 20.52 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 6266.55 crore and up 4.58 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 7221.65 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 732.24 crore, up 23.79 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
