Minister asks companies to follow IFFCO’s example

Lauding IFFCO for its initiative in supplying free Oxygen to hospitals, Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers D V Sadananda Gowda exhorted other companies to follow suit.

Sadananda Gowda (tweeted “I urge other urea cos. to kindly follow the suit of IFFCO & set up oxygen plants in their plant premises wherever possible. This is time to fight the pandemic together & with full strength.”

Congratulating IFFCO, Gowda wrote on his twitter wall, “Kudos to IFFCO for dedicating their four plants for production of medical oxygen. I request other urea units to kindly follow the suit wherever possible. Government is taking all measures to ramp up production and availability of medical oxygen”.

Kribhco, another co-op titan has also decided to set up Oxygen plants. The free supply will begin in next 10-15 days.
