Allow patients, do not insist COVID-19 report: Gandhi hospital SP

Hyderabad: The superintendent of Gandhi Hospital asked the security and police personnel posted at the gates of the institution to admit patients COVID-19 without insisting on an RTPCR test report. Superintendent dr. Raja Rao issued an order on April 21 in which he asked the police and security personnel to prevent any vehicles / ambulances from entering the premises. He also asked all doctors there to admit patients without also insisting on a report.

Gandhi Hospital, one of the most important state-run health facilities in Hyderabad, has once again become a knot COVID-19 treatment center only. The state government turned it back into a hospital just to treat it COVID-19 patients, as last year. All other non-COVID patients were moved to other hospitals in the city. Dr Raja Rao also mentioned in his assignment that there should be no delay in the admission of patients.

Furthermore, there were rumors that the oxygen cylinders in Gandhi Hospital were also running out. However, Dr Raja Rao dismissed it, saying it was not true. A report in Telangana Today, which quoted him, said there was no shortage of oxygen intended for criticism COVID-19 patients.

‘It’s just rumors and there is no oxygen shortage in Gandhi Hospital. The hospital has a large gas tank, recently built, with a capacity of 20 kilos (KL), apart from smaller six KL gas tanks. These oxygen tanks are refilled from time to time. “All of us must also pray that our state does not experience oxygen deficiencies,” said Raja Rao.
