Stocks to watch on April 22nd: On Thursday, both Sensex and Nifty reported a bearish trend in the stock market after bullish reports in the last session of the market. The Sensex is trading below 47,500 levels and nifty trading below 14,300 levels in the stock market. The Sensex lost 214.84 points with a 0.45% decrease and reached 47,498.10 levels. While the nifty lost 43.70 points with a 0.31% decrease and reached 14,253.10 levels.

On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India on Thursday, April 22nd reached 1,59,30,965 with almost 1,84,657 deaths.

Nestle India Limited: On Wednesday, the company reported its quarterly results for the financial year 2021-22. The companies consolidated net profit increased by 14.60% to Rs. 602.20 crores as against Rs. 525.40 crores in the same quarter last year. While the companies total revenue during the quarter increased to Rs. 3,610.80 crores as against Rs. 3,325.80 crores in the same period last financial year.

However, the shares of Nestle India Limited on Thursday reported a bearish trend in the stock market. It lost 206.35 points with a 1.21% decrease and reached 16,889.00 INR. While in BSE, the company lost 215.00 points with a 1.26% decrease and reached 16,889.65 INR.

State Bank of India: On Tuesday, the bank said to the exchange that IRDAI imposed a penalty of Rs. 25 lakh on SBI General Insurance for non-compliance obligations under Motors Third Part Business.

However, the shares of TV18 Broadcast Limited on Thursday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 2.45 points with an 8.89% increase and reached 30.00 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 2.50 points with a 9.07% increase and reached 30.05 INR.
