For a few years I've been wanting to get an F-150, I don't need a pickup for work but I love the design and technology/features. It would also make taking my bike places a lot simpler, I now have to take it apart for it to barely fit in my car with the rear seats down. I also sometimes see people chilling in the bed of their pickup, I'd do that from time to time too.
Who has a pickup without needing one for work and do you recommend one?

4 door, 4WD Toyota Tacoma and yes, worth it (paid off).
I live on the beach and pull phaggots out of the sand all the time - plus it gets me to prime fishing spots I'd otherwise not be able to drive to without 4WD. We used to own horses and it hauled the trailer. Was a tremendous help after the hurricane last year.

Chevy Silver-aydo crew checking in. Don't use it for work, but do use it to do work very frequently. (Hauling lumber, firewood, toys, whatever + hunting/beach/fishing/camping/hiking trips, etc).
I went a few months without a truck a couple years ago, never again. Use it way too often to not have one.Permabulk/bloatlord Crew

Too many outdoors activities/hobbies to not have a truck plus the usual homedepot runs for landscaping supplies or lumber.
Tacoma works well but I borrow my parents' Silverado if I need to haul a bigger load.
It's also nice for when you find amazing deals on furniture or equipment online and have to make a deal right there and pick up asap -- can't be waiting to borrow a truck and risk losing out.-SF Gigantes y SF 49ers-

I just put $70 in gas here for my truck (regular gas non premium) I use to take my dog to parks and ****. Only reason I bought it is because I didn’t wanna keep putting my dog in my mustang gt .
My mustang is v8 and it’s by far not great in gas mileage gets about 16mpg and it costs $35 to fill up with premium and both vehicles get about same mileage w one tank of gas.
Can’t imagine someone using a truck to go to their 9-5 and use it as a daily. You are wasting so much money on gas.Atlanta Falcons!!!
