London Bridge Station to Reopen; Item Found Non-Suspicious

(Bloomberg) -- London Bridge station will reopen after British Transport Police said in a tweet that specialist officers assessed that an item on board a train was “non-suspicious”.

The station had been evacuated on Wednesday after police received reports of a suspicious item on a train. Officers were called to the station just after 12:30, local time, with the station closed as a precaution while specialists assessed the situation.

London Bridge station serves an area on the south bank of the River Thames and is near the site of a 2017 terror attack.
